I was born in sunny Southend-on-Sea, Essex, in the UK and was encouraged from a very early age to explore all creative avenues through, dance, art and music. After initially training  and performing in Europe as a Ballerina, I chose a career change to work behind the scenes in theatre and film.

After graduating in 2006 with a BA(Hons) in Film Production as a Production Designer (set designer/prop maker) from the acclaimed Arts Institute at Bournemouth, I travelled to Canada to gain Work Experience as an art department assistant.

I had a really fantastic time working in the Art Department for a number of companies in Toronto and Vancouver, learning new skills like scenic painting and prop sourcing and meeting lovely like-minded people. Canada holds a very special place in my heart as it is where I met my husband-to-be! We married in 2010 and welcomed the gorgeous and funny, light of our lives (and my biggest challenge yet) baby Daisy, on Valentine's Day 2015.

Moving to Kilkenny, Ireland, the home city of my husband, provided another new and exciting opportunity for me to train and work as a professional florist with the Dutch Master Florist, Lamber de Bie; www.lamberdebie.ie

Working personally with customers every day to provide bouquets and arrangements to celebrate, commiserate and romance, allowed me to create gifts to suit the recipients and their style, to match colours and arrangements to their home decor and to give Brides the most wonderful Wedding Flowers they could ever imagine.

Now based in the UK, Sally Rose Studio is an excellent opportunity to collaborate all the creative skills I have acquired. As well as stunning florals, I create beautiful handmade stationery to reflect each couples vision and personality. I am very proud of the products that I make. They are modern, clean designs that suit popular and quirky Wedding themes and are made with much care and attention to detail.
